Sustainable choice
This leadrope is made of 12mm rope from 100% recycled material; rpet. produced from recycled PET bottles (for example, soft drink bottles) in a factory in the Netherlands that runs on its own solar panels.
The RPET rope is of the same high quality as our Pro Leadrope line of new polyester.
Our sustainable and recycled collection consists of lead ropes made from rPET rope. rPET is 100% recycled polyethylene, made from PET bottles returned by consumers. Approximately 40 bottles are needed for 1 kilo of rope. The plastic bottles are shredded, melted, and converted into thread. This thread is then braided into rope in a Dutch factory that runs entirely on solar energy.
