Mecate

The mecate is a 22 ft (6.7 meters) line fitted with a leather strap on each side.

The mecate can be tied to a rope halter and is very suitable for freestyle riding. 
The rope halter must be wide enough to tie the mecate to it.

The mecate is also suitable for tying to a bosal.

A mecate can also be ordered together with a rope halter as a natural hackamore.
